Kick off your Memorial Day weekend by supporting the service men and women who keep our country safe at our Red, White & Blue Showcase, noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the Balmoral Crystal Clear Lagoon & Beach Club, 15808 Crystal Terrace Drive.
During the event, we’ll be hosting Boots For Troopspackage parties. There will be two opportunities to wrap packages that day — the first from noon to 1 p.m. and the second from 3 to 4 p.m. Please bring what you can to help support our troops. The most requested items are beef jerky, mixed nuts, energy bars, headphones, flushable wipes and healthy snacks.
In between parties, we’ll add to the fun with food trucks, games, music, a cash bar provided by Bartending2U and more. Military members eat for free. Children are welcome to help.
Boots for Troops supports the morale and mental wellbeing of active service members around the world by providing customized care packages tailored to each individual. The care packages always contain a pair of new boots from brands such as Justin, Ariat, Tony Lama, Timberland, Polo and more that they can wear every day.

Weighing in at just 30 pounds, the Jetsurf can be easily carried down to the beach by a single person. With a range of up to 30 miles, it can be taken on short or long rides.
