Live the Resort Life All Year Round

If you’ve ever dreamed of a home near the beach, now’s your chance. Your new home in Balmoral will allow you to easily access the beautiful white-sand beaches of our mesmerizing lagoon via our GreenBoLT trail system, ideal for golf carts, bikes and even your feet. Swim in the infinity-edge pool, paddle on the lagoon or relax in a hammock. It’s the resort-life without ever having to get on a plane, and it can be yours today.

Latin music lovers are invited to get their Salsa, Merengue and Rhumba on as the sun sets over the Balmoral lagoon 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.

Grab your friends and head to the beach, 15808 Crystal Terrace Drive, Humble, TX 77346, where DJ Alejandro Bouza will be spinning Latin hits while you enjoy a menu of South American classics from Houston’s finest South American food vendors and Tex-Mex from Chuy’s of Humble. There will be cocktails for purchase.

When you get tired of moving to the Latin beat, you can enjoy performances by Houston’s hottest Salsa groups.

The public is invited but leave the kids at home because this party is only for adults 21 and over.

Don’t miss your chance to have fun and visit Texas’ first crystal clear lagoon. Get your early bird tickets online or at the door. Tickets are $20 (non-residents).

When it comes to networking with business professionals, ditch the meet-and-greet and head for the beach at Balmoral, Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 5-8 p.m.

We’re hosting a Sip and See networking event the likes of which you’ve never seen. Come out to the Balmoral lagoon, 15808 Crystal Terrace Drive, Humble, TX 77346, to sip complimentary cocktails provided by Bartending2U and see the first crystal clear lagoon in Texas.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet with other professionals in the Houston area. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the lifestyle Balmoral residents enjoy every day — from the white-sand beaches and sparkling lagoon to the spectacular Amenity Village with infinity-edge pool, gorgeous clubhouse and sand volleyball court.

As a community, Balmoral isn’t even two years old, but already we’ve been ranked among the best of the best on two esteemed lists of the top-selling master-planned communities in the nation.

The lists by real estate consulting firms Robert Charles Lesser & Co (RCLCO) and John Burns Real Estate Consulting rank the top 50 master-planned communities by total sales for the previous year.

Balmoral ranked No. 42 on the RCLCO list and was ranked No. 47 on the John Burns List. How good were our sales? They were up an astonishing 345 percent! In 2017, only 75 homes were sold in our community. Last year our builders sold 334 homes.

Did we say astonishing? Not really. One of the reason buyers flocked to our community was the opening of our beautiful crystal clear lagoon.

“The announcement of the lagoon in Balmoral, the billboards and the excitement surrounding it definitely impacted home sales in Balmoral and will continue to do so,” said David Jarvis, Senior Vice President with John Burns Real Estate Consulting.

Of course, our white sand beaches and spectacular amenity village aren’t the only attraction. We offer a range of home choices by nationally recognized builders including Ashton Woods, CastleRock Communities, Colina Homes, D. R. Horton, Empire, Graypoint Homes, Highland Homes, Historymaker Homes, Lennar, Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes and Westin Homes.

We’re also a Land Tejas community. Our developer is one of the most prolific and innovative creators of master-planned communities in the greater Houston area. In addition to Balmoral, two more Land Tejas communities were ranked among the top 50. Harmony in Spring placed No. 28 on the 25thannual RCLCO report, and No. 31 on the John Burns Real Estate Consulting report. Landing at No. 43 on the RCLCO list was Lago Mar in Texas City.

As you can see, we have a lot going for us. Or maybe you haven’t seen us yet? Come out take a look at our homes, amenities and fabulous lifestyle. You won’t regret it.

Whether it is decorating sugar cookies or making gingerbread houses, baking is as timeless as the holidays. So, dust off those aprons and get those sprinkles shaking because it’s time for some fun!

From our family to yours, the first treat on our list has become our all-time favorite family tradition. Biscochitosare shortbread-esque cookies flavored with cinnamon and anise. They’re a simple treat topped with a sugar/cinnamon mix. Estimated prep time is 40 minutes, but during that 40 minutes your home will be filled with the most wonderful holiday aroma.

Next, we have a classic: The Gingerbread House. The gingerbread mix is diverse in that you can make a beautiful gingerbread home or a fun-filled gingerbread family! Decorating both is equally as fun but we’ve got to say, it’s much easier to eat family members than an architectural masterpiece (gingerbread family members, of course).

Have you ever made your own fudge before? If so, you know how good it feels to eat home-made fudge. If you haven’t, that’s because whoever makes it eats it before you can get to it because it’s that good. We’re joking, of course, because not only is fudge fun to make but it also makes a perfect holiday gift! Pack it in a decorative tin and it’ll stay fresh for at least a week.

Last but certainly not least, the festive and elegant linzer cookie. You can fill these little beauties with a wide variety of fruit fillings, but this particular recipe calls for that festive red raspberry jam. There’s nothing elegant about eating the entire batch of cookies in 2 days, but here we are making one of our favorite holiday treats.

We could honestly go on and on with different fun treats like sugar cookies, apple pies, candy-cane brownies, cinnamon rolls, truffles – but we don’t have all day. We’ve got the perfect kitchenand now it’s time to get baking!
